Description
This Rhythm Worksheets Set contains 26 worksheets that help build rhythm reading and writing skills. The bundle is divided up into rhythmic units (quarters and eighths, rests, half and whole, sixteenth, and syncopation). The listening and rhythm dictation assignments are designed so the teacher will SAY a rhythm and students circle the matching one/write the correct rhythm. You can use the assignments as quizzes or simply as in-class practice. My personal favorites are the rhythm writing practice worksheets (note tracing worksheets). They are great for introducing new rhythms to elementary students. I use these worksheets with grades 1-5 in my own classroom and the kids love them. They make rhythm reading and rhythm writing simple!
